About HVLD.com
Welcome to High Velocity Low Drag. This site contains short, unique, and insightful articles dedicated to helping you be successful.
High Velocity Low Drag
HVLD is my take on a military term "high speed, low drag", which is used to describe highly capable, efficient, and effective equipment or personnel. The obvious analogy is a fighter aircraft that is aerodynamically high speed, low drag. Someone who can get a job done effectively and efficiently (metaphorically) displays these same traits.
A HVLD person is one who focuses on two goals: Learning & Executing.
Learning - without continuous education, a person does not grow and improve. Stagnation of your mind will result in habits and falling into a rut that controls you. Knowledge allows you to work at a higher plane and reach your destination.
Executing - unless you do something, you never accomplish anything! The Lemmings do the same thing as everyone else - and get the same results as everyone else. Doing things differently separates you from the crowd.
Knowledge is the foundation which raises you above everyone else so that you can survey the lay of the land, see what others don't, and chart a course to your goal. Acquiring unique insights and applying the knowledge systematically will rapidly improve your success.
Do you aspire to be HVLD in your business and personal life? If so, hvld.com contains a unique catalog of opinion, educational, reference, how-to, and, occasionally, entertaining material that will strengthen your understanding, thinking, reasoning, and executing muscles.
